CHICAGO (WSCR) The Chicago White Sox have had a rough start to their 2011 season, but a belief still remains that they’re a much better team than their record indicates.
“When you talk to people around baseball,” Ken Rosenthal, of FOX Sports, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. “And I’m not making this up, they almost universally believe the White Sox are going to play better and going to at least become a force. Whether they can get back into this thing remains to be seen. I personally believe they still will, becuase they’re too good not to, and [Jake] Peavy’s return Wednesday could provide a boost, at least emotionally, if not from a pitching standpoint right away.

“But hey, at some point instead of hearing all that talk and believing that it’s going to get better, you have to make it get better…But again this is a start. And the good news is that they go to Anaheim now, and they don’t even have to face [Jered] Weaver and [Dan] Haren. They miss both, and that’s a break.”
