Mariners Claim White Sox Reliever Gray

CHICAGO (WSCR) The Seattle Mariners have claimed Chicago White Sox reliever Jeff Gray, the team announced on Friday. Gray was designated for assignment by the White Sox earlier this week.

Gray’s last appearance for the White Sox came on Tuesday. He pitched three scoreless innings in a 6-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. In 13.1 innings pitched this season, Gray had a 2.70 earned run average and a 1.28 WHIP.

He had previous pitched for the Chicago Cubs and the Oakland A’s.
