Two Injured In Alcohol-Fueled Rollover Crash
VALPARAISO, Ind. (STMW) – The driver of a silver Chrysler Sebring was unconscious when rescuers found him after the car crashed, and possibly rolled over, in a parking lot near the intersection of Axe and Nickel Plate avenues.
A passenger told police they had just left Duffy’s Place bar at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday.
While being treated at a Porter hospital for injuries, including head lacerations, driver Tayler Aiello, 21, of Palatine, Ill., had a blood-alcohol level just under twice the legal limit, police said.
Front-seat passenger Anthony Curry, 23, of Merrillville, also had a cut to his head and a possible concussion. A third passenger, Alexandra Frakes, 21, of Munster, who was sitting on Curry’s lap when they crashed, wasn’t injured.
