'Deng Is A Perfect Player For Thibodeau'
CHICAGO (WSCR) Other than Derrick Rose, Luol Deng may not only be the most important player for the Bulls, but he might also be the most improved player. Under former head coach Vinny Del Negro, Deng was non-factor on most nights.
"Luol Deng, I think, is a guy who, certainly with the big contract and the injuries, has taken a lot of heat in this town," Adrian Wojnarowski, of Yahoo! Sports, said on the Danny Mac Show. "But Deng is a perfect player for [Tom] Thibodeau, becuase he's highly intelligent, you know, he cares...He has maximized Deng and got the most out of him on both ends of the floor.

"I think the question is going to be for the Bulls, is going to continue to be: can they get scoring beyond Derrick Rose? Can they get other guys to step up? Whether it's Deng, [Carlos] Boozer. And I think that's going to continue to be a key through this series because you know they're going to defend every night."
