$75K Bond For Man Charged With Stalking Girl, 14

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Bond was set at $75,000 Wednesday for a man accused of stalking a 14-year-old girl on the North Side in a pattern of behavior the victim said has been ongoing for nearly a year.

Antonio Davis, 23, is accused of looking up at the 14-year-old girl's window Tuesday morning, and following her home from a grocery in the 5300 block of Broadway about 10 days ago, police said.

The girl does not know Davis and recently reported the incidents, which have been ongoing since June of 2010, she told police.

Davis was arrested about 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of West Foster Avenue and charged with one count of felony stalking, police said.

In court Wednesday, Judge Israel Desierto set bond at $75,000 and set a preliminary hearing for May 31 in North Felony Court (Br. 42), according to Cook County State's Attorney's office spokesman Andy Conklin.
