Man Critically Injured In West Side Stabbing

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was stabbed multiple times when an argument turned violent early Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood.

The 39-year-old an was arguing with a person he knew in the 1100 block of South Kostner Avenue when the person pulled a knife and stabbed him multiple times about 1:30 a.m., police said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition with multiple times wounds, police said.

The attacker fled the area and is not in custody early Sunday, police said.

Harrison Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody.
