Boy, 13, Wounded In Drive-By Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) – A 13-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting as he stood in front of his South Side home Monday afternoon.
About 2 p.m., the boy was standing in front of his home on the 9400 block of South Indiana Avenue when a gray Chevrolet Cavalier drove down the block, a report from police News Affairs said.
A rear seat passenger opened fire and the boy was shot in the left calf, according to the report. He was taken to Roseland Community Hospital in good condition, police said. No one was in custody Monday night.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
