Shaq On Twitter: ‘I’m About to Retire’

CHICAGO (CBS) Shaquille O’Neal announced on Twitter Wednesday that he is “about to retire”.

The tweet said “im retiring” and included a link to a short video where he simply told his fans: “We did it. 19 years, baby. Thank you very much. That’s why I’m telling you first: I’m about to retire. Love you. Talk to you soon.”

The title above the video said “Shaq ooout.”

O’Neal retires after 19 seasons in the NBA with the Magic,  Lakers, Heat, Suns, Cavaliers and Celtics.

      Um, AT3374, did you mean to say “centers” or “entertainers?”
      You’d, probably, be right either way.
      His role in Blue Chips was pretty good.
      On a side note,
      Do you get the feeling that Emmett Smith could do whatever he wants? I guess, he wants to keep his Sundays open, otherwise, I’d think he’d be a natural in a booth or a studio.
