Man Plunges To Death From Condo Tower Near Mag Mile

CHICAGO (CBS) — A man plunged to his death Monday morning from a condo tower just west of the Magnificent Mile.

Police were called just before 8 a.m. after the man’s body was found outside the condo building at 111 E. Chestnut St. Police said it is not clear if he jumped or was pushed.

The victim was in his early 20s, and might have been a resident of the building, police said.

A witness told CBS 2 the man’s body was seen in the patio area of the building, surrounded by mulch scattered from a broken planter.

Police are conducting a death investigation.

What a bad news day, Twitter Flash Mobs attacking the populace, missing children on the North Side, a young adult falling from a building. Bad things to all the wrong people. Not that bad things should happen to the right people but the young is our only hope.

This was across from Loyola Chicago where I work. We had a birds eye view of the entire thing. Terrible way to start the week.

You meant this to be humorous. There’s one problem: IT WASN’T. You’re a mean-spirited twit.

That’s a nice picture of police lights. Thanks.
