CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. (STMW) — An 8-year-old girl was critically injured Wednesday morning when she was struck by a car while riding a bicycle in northwest suburban Crystal Lake.
About 7:35 a.m., a 2004 Acura TL, driven by Bradley A. Harding, 39, of Lakewood, was eastbound on North Avenue near Millard Avenue when a bicycle ridden by an 8-year-old girl attempted to cross southbound on North, police said.
