Review Of City Credit Cards Continues
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel says his administration is reviewing the way city departments and their sister agencies have been using city credit cards.
After news reports that there has been abuse of city credit cards among some department officials in various agencies, Mayor Emanuel revoked the cards.
He says he wanted to make it clear that city cards were not extensions of officials' personal credit cards. Now, he says he's hired a firm to review the way the cards have been used for the past two years.
