Uptown Woman Reported Missing
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are searching for an Uptown woman who was supposed to get on a flight to Vietnam but never boarded.
Tran Huong, 29, was last seen June 5 when she left her home in the 900 block of West Lakeside Place, according to a Missing Persons alert from Belmont Area detectives.
Huong told her husband she was going to Vietnam but did not get on the flight, according to the alert.
She frequents a nail salon at 11623 S. Halsted St. and she is described as being 5-feet tall, 100 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. She was wearing a black polka-dot shirt, blue pants and she was carrying a white handbag, the alert said.
