Delays Expected For Resurfacing On Lake Shore Drive
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Get ready for delays if you're taking Lake Shore Drive overnight this week.
Crews are repaving the Outer Drive in both directions between Belmont Avenue and Irving Park Road.
From Monday night through Wednesday night, you can expect northbound lane closures from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Some southbound lanes will be closed from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Three years ago, North Lake Shore Drive was resurfaced from Irving Park Road all the way north to Foster Avenue, after the roadway was hit with a rash of potholes the previous winter.
