Teen’s Body Found Duct Taped In Bag

CHICAGO (STMW) – The remains of a teenage girl were found inside a cloth bag Wednesday afternoon in the Roseland community. Sources said her hands and legs were bound together.

The remains of the girl were discovered about 4:20 p.m. in the 10000 block of South Normal Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, citing preliminary information.

Sources said the teenage girl had her hands and legs duct taped together.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said the teenage girl was pronounced dead at 6:10 p.m. on the scene. She remained unidentified Wednesday night.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, the medical examiner’s office said.

Calumet Area detectives are conducting a “death investigation.”

i put some blame on Mayor Rahm, he gave more police in areas uptown that really dont have any crimes and about zero rate of murders. Roseland has had these episodes repeatedly throughout the years but Roseland, as I understand, got no police increase at all. Just like the South Chciago Area. I wonder if its because those areas have low voting turnout and he (Rahm) barely got votes from Roseland and South Chicago. Also, some people in those communities like Roseland shouldnt complain when they know of crimes or illegal things going on or about to go on and dont calll 911 to report it and/or allow it in their own homes.
