VIDEO: Blagojevich Stunned By Conviction, Jury Speaks Out

CHICAGO (CBS) — A jury convicted Rod Blagojevich of 17 corruption counts on Monday, a decision that left the former governor stunned.

WATCH: U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald welcomes the verdict, but called it “bittersweet” because he said Blagojevich failed to learn from the corruption conviction of his predecessor, George Ryan:

WATCH: Blagojevich, who has confidently predicted his vindication, was stunned and nearly at a loss for words. “There’s not much left to say. We want to get home to our little girls.”
