(WSCR) On Thursday, DePaul announced their home and away opponents for the 2011-12 Big East schedule.
Head coach Oliver Purnell and the Blue Demons will square off against Louisville, St. John’s and Seton Hall twice. The remaining conference games will be split between home and away.
In addition to Louisville, St. John’s and Seton Hall, DePaul’s home schedule will include Georgetown, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, USF and Syracuse at the Allstate Area.
The Blue Demons will play on the road against Cincinnati, Connecticut, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Villanova and West Virginia, along with the road portion of the series against the Cardinals, Red Storm and Pirates.
DePaul is also scheduled to play in the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla., in November. The tournament will include Arizona State, Dayton, Indiana State, Fairfield, Minnesota, Texas Tech and Wake Forest.
Dates, times and broadcast information for the Big East schedule will be released by the conference at a later date.
