Hottest Days Ever In Chicago

Temperatures of 100 degrees or more in Chicago are actually fairly rare. In fact, since 2000, there has been only one day above 100, according to the National Weather Service. 1988 was especially brutal, with seven days of 100 degrees or more.

Wednesday is expected to be the hottest day so far this year, with highs around 97 degrees, with 100 degrees possible in some areas.
