Police Search For Missing Humboldt Park Teen

CHICAGO (CBS) — Police are searching for a teenage girl who has been missing from her Humboldt Park home for more than a week.

Akira Harper, 14, is missing from the area of Augusta Boulevard and Rockwell Street, according to Chicago police. She was last seen on June 21, wearing blue and grey capri pants and a grey blouse.

Akira is described as a 5-foot tall, 120-pound African American girl with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call Harrison Area detectives at 312-746-9259.
