Blackhawks Prospect Camp To Include Five 2011 Draft Picks

CHICAGO (CBS) The Chicago Blackhawks announced the 2011 Prospect Camp roster on Tuesday. The highlights include five picks from this year's draft, as well as two additional former first round selections and four local prospects.

The camp will be held at Johnny's Ice House West in Chicago from Thursday, July 7 to Monday, July 11.

Mark McNeill (18th overall), Phillip Danault (26th overall), Adam Clendening (36th overall), Brandon Saad (43rd overall) and Michael Paliotta (70th overall) were all selected in the June draft. They'll be joined by former first round picks Kevin Hayes (2010) and Dylan Olsen (2009).

On-ice sessions will start on Thursday around 10:00 A.M. and go until approximately 1:15 P.M. Friday and Sunday will feature players split into two sessions, each on-ice session lasting roughly 75 minutes. Saturday and Monday will include full scrimmages.

All on-ice sessions at Johnny's Ice House West are open to the public.

Paul Phillips (Darien, IL), Luke Sandler (Chicago, IL), Terry Broadhurst (New Lenox, IL) and Alex Broadhurst (New Lenox, IL) are the four local prospects being invited to the camp.
