Man Hit By 2 Cars, Killed, Near Mount Prospect

ELK GROVE TOWNSHIP, Ill. (CBS) — A Mount Prospect man is dead, after being struck by two cars overnight just outside the northwest suburb.

Christopher Spatafora, 51, of the 1700 block of Crystal Lane in Mount Prospect, was pronounced dead via telemetry from Northwestern Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Spatafora was struck by two vehicles near the intersection of Busse Road and James Drive in unincorporated Elk Grove Township near Mount Prospect, according to the medical examiner’s office.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, but a message left for comment was not immediately returned Friday morning.
