Man Stabbed In South Side Park Dies

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was who was stabbed early Sunday at a park in the South Side Englewood neighborhood has died.

Officers responded to the report of a man stabbed at 1236 W. 64th Street at 4:44 a.m., police said.

When officers arrived on scene they found a man who had been stabbed in Ogden Park, police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office was notified of the death, but did not have pronouncement information Sunday morning.

Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
