Chicago Cop Struck By Vehicle
CHICAGO (STMW) - A female Chicago Police officer is recovering at a Near West Side hospital after being struck by a vehicle Sunday morning.
AT 9:18 a.m. Chicago Fire Department personnel responded to the intersection of 21st Place and Oakley Avenue for a police officer who was apparently outside her vehicle when another vehicle struck her, according to Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford.
She was transported to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where she is in good condition, said Langford.
Police had no information immediately.
