(CBS) After being pulled out of last night’s Triple-A game in Charlotte, outfielder Alejandro De Aza has surfaced in the White Sox locker room and will start in center field this afternoon against the Detroit Tigers.

De Aza replaces Mark Teahen on the active roster after the third baseman and pitcher Edwin Jackson were sent to Toronto in a trade for reliever Jason Frasor and minor league pitcher Zach Stewart.

General Manager Kenny Williams said De Aza will replace Alex Rios in center field for the time being.

Here is today’s lineup against the Tigers:

Paul Konerko – DH

Adam Dunn – 1B

OK I can live with Jackson in that trade going and I am happy to see Tehan gone finally. I hope we keepDe Aza up for awhile. Now we just have to figure out how to dump Peavy,Rios, Dunn,Vazquiz, and Kenny Williams and we have a good start getting things right again. Too bad these things can’t be fixed and we are stuck with all that garbage ..Thanks Kenny
