Greg Olsen Trade Rumors Swirling Around Bears Camp

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Bears tight end Greg Olsen could be traded, according to 670 The Score's Zach Zaidman.

Zaidman doesn't believe Olsen has any interest in being traded, but he wrote on Twitter Thursday it "looks like Bears will be making a deal."

Meanwhile, The Chicago Tribune reports that Olsen's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, sent out an email this week to other NFL teams, informing them that the Bears were looking for a deal.

"The Bears have granted me permission to seek a trade for Greg Olsen," Rosenhaus wrote in the email the Tribune received from an NFL personnel source. "Please let me know if interested. Sounds like the Bears will be very reasonable on the compensation in return for Greg."

Adding fuel to the trade rumors were reports from NFL Network that the Bears signed Steelers tight end Matt Spaeth.

Olsen is in the final year of his contract with the Bears. He joined the team after being drafted out of the University of Miami in 2007.

In four years, he has 194 catches for 1,981 yards and 20 touchdowns. His best year was 2009, with 60 catches for 612 yards and eight touchdowns.

Spaeth lacks Olsen's offensive production, but has size, standing at 6-foot-7 and 270 pounds.
