(CBS) Free agent cornerback Kelvin Hayden will visit the Bears Monday and pick a team by Thursday, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Hayden, who went to Hubbard and also played at Illinois, told the newspaper he would love to play for his hometown Bears, but he also has interest from eight other teams.
Hayden would bring some much-needed depth to the Bears’ cornerback group. Fans should remember him from the Super Bowl XLI, when he intercepted a Rex Grossman pass and returned it for a touchdown.
He was released by the Colts during the offseason.
