UPDATED 08/15/11 9:52 a.m.

TINLEY PARK, Ill. (CBS) - An 18-year-old woman is dead, and four others are injured, after a single-car crash in Tinley Park over the weekend.

Megan Elan, of the 12700 block of South Loveland Street in Alsip, was involved in a crash Saturday night at 6200 183rd Street in Tinley Park. She was a passenger in the car, and was ejected when the vehicle left the road on 183rd Street two blocks from Ridgeland Avenue in Tinley Park, police said.

Four others, two men and two women, were injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment, police said.

The red 2008 Pontiac G6 left the road about 11:38 p.m. Saturday, rolled several times and came to rest on Cook County Forest Preserve property, Tinley Park police said.

Elan was pronounced dead at 12:29 a.m. at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. A Sunday autopsy determined that she died of multiple injures from a motor vehicle accident, and her death was accidental, according to the Medical Examiner's office.

Officials are investigating the crash.
