Woman Missing From Northwest Side For Over A Week

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police hope you can solve the mystery of Michigan woman who disappeared over a week ago on the city's Northwest Side.

As WBBM Newsradio's Michele Fiore reports, Jessica Magnatta, 29, left the home where she was staying in the 3000 block of West Belmont Avenue in the Avondale neighborhood, on Aug. 6. She left her cell phone and other belongings there, a police alert said.

Magnatta is described as white, 5-foot-2, 150 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a light complexion, the alert said. She was last seen wearing black pants, a black polo shirt, a black baseball cap and glasses.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Grand Central Area detectives at (312) 746-8365.
