Lake Zurich Police Increase Reward In Deadly Hit-And-Run

CHICAGO (WBBM) – Police in Lake Zurich are desperate for more information involving the hit and run of a teenager girl so the amount of reward money being offered has been increased.

Lake County Crime Stoppers is now offering a $5-thousand reward for information about whomever struck and killed 18-year-old Gabriella Drodz.

The teenager was killed while walking on the gravel shoulder of a road as she was heading to a concert. Drodz two friends were also hurt but survived.

Investigators working off of witness statements say the car involved may be a white or light colored SUV and there may also be a broken turn signal or hazard light cover on the front passenger side of the vehicle.
