BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (STMW) – Workers in a Buffalo Grove doctor’s office told police that someone for months has been taking from the office’s supply of erectile dysfunction drug samples.
The employees said the thefts have occurred numerous times at night since January, but they finally reported them last week after the burglar got into their locked pharmaceutical closet.
“When (the doctor) arrived (Aug. 15) the entire supply of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra samples were gone,” according to a police report. The office manager said the burglar has also taken $20 and loose change from the petty cash drawer.
Police said the doctor had tried to install a “nanny cam” to catch the pill pilferer, but the camera was stolen about four months ago.
