DePaul Assistant’s House ‘Cleaned Out’ While In Europe

(CBS) While DePaul assistant coach Billy Garrett was in Europe with the Blue Demons basketball team, his South Side home was burglarized, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

“They took everything,” Garrett said. “They cleaned us out. Things that can’t be replaced, this really took some time.

Disturbingly, among the items stolen, was Garrett’s son’s oxygen tank, which he uses because he suffers from a rare form of sickle cell disease.
