'Armed, Dangerous' Shooting Suspect On Loose

OAK FOREST (CBS) -- A man considered "armed and dangerous'' is on the loose after allegedly shooting two women overnight in Oak Forest and Markham.

"He is on the loose. I am outraged,'' Oak Forest Police Chief Greg Anderson said.

At 1:35 a.m., a 28-year-old woman was shot three times in the 15400 block of South Cicero Avenue in Oak Forest. She was seriously injured, but was able to tell police that her attacker was Terrell Randall, the chief said.

During the course of their investigation, a bulletin came over police radio after south suburban Markham police said a woman was shot about 4:30 a.m., Anderson said. Markham police also identified the suspect as Randall.

The victim on the Oak Forest shooting was in critical condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The victim in the second shooting was also seriously injured, he said.

As of early Friday afternoon, Randall remains at large, Anderson said.

"I would like to warn the public not to approach this guy. If anyone sees him, just call 911,'' Anderson said.

Randall is believed to be in the Chicago area and is driving a beige-colored 1999 Chevrolet Malibu with Illinois plates A174244.

A motive for the attacks was not known.
