3 Hurt In Crash During Attempted Drive-By

CHICAGO (CBS) — Three people were injured Tuesday night when a car crashed into an oncoming van, apparently during an attempted drive-by shooting.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, a car swerved into an oncoming van at 118th Street and Michigan Avenue while the occupants of the car were firing shots from the vehicle.

No one was injured in the shooting, but three people were hurt in the crash, according to the fire department.

One person was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious to critical condition.

The other two people were taken to Roseland Community Hospital.
