OTTAWA, Canada (CBS/WBBM) – A plane from Chicago skidded off a runway in Ottawa, Canada on Sunday.

Ottawa Fire Services spokesman Marc Messier said it happened at about 3:30 p.m. Chicago time on a rainy day at Ottawa International Airport.

United Express flight 3363, an Embraer 145 with 44 passengers and three crew members on board, skidded off of the runway and ended up on a grassy area of the airport.

When firefighters arrived, everyone on board had deplaned and boarded a city bus to the terminal.

Messier said no one was hurt, but the plane did have damage to the undercarriage and one wing.

    this is the second incident in just over a year,same aircraft type,same airline,similar conditions.The first incident the plane went off the end of the runway.This time it went off the side of the runway with lots of room to spare as this runway in nearly 10000 ft.
