GROBBER'S MONDAY RANTS---Sept 12,2011
==================================
***The game of Football paid a nice tribute to the victims of the September 11,2001 attacks on the World Trade Center,Pentagon and the flight that went down in Pennsylvania ten years ago. I was in Evanston as Northwestern had a nice flag for their Saturday game with Eastern Illinois, and Sunday the NFL also had many tributes in all Stadiums that had Noon(CDT)kickoffs including Soldier Field.

***To all the 'National' Media types that made the Atlanta Falcons a three point favorite over the Bears, IN YOUR FACE! 30-12,and Atlanta failed to score an offensive TD! Next up,the Saints who will be hopping mad after the way they lost at Green Bay Thursday,but they will be a bit shorthanded with among others Marcus Colston out.

***Ozzie Guillen doesn't know when to bring it down a notch or more.After Saturday's win over Cleveland in which Alex Rios hit a Grand Slam to end it,he said had they lost,the Ball club would have had no choice bu to whack him with what he would have said. The Sox are all but dead,but Ozzie has no choice but to approach each game as if they are still legit in the race.Ozzie said that had the Sox lost Saturday,that he may have unleashed his own "Lee Elia" tirade. Well they lost(while Detroit won again)Sunday,but no big time "Blue" language.

***There will be lots of talk about how spectacular Saturday night's Michigan last second win over Notre Dame was. Guess what? Both defenses were horrible.Notre Dame first blew it with yet another of their many box car loads of turnovers,then the Irish went down the field to go back in front.Problem was ND scored too soon.The Denard Robinson quickly took the Wolverines down and turned the ND secondary to toast.
