School Principal Brian Waterman says the odor from the herbicide drifted into three classrooms, two of which were occupied, and the six people affected had to get medical treatment.

By mid-afternoon, an assistant principal said the symptoms had subsided and the six were doing well.

Classes in the three rooms where the smell of herbicide was detected were re-located– and school officials say other classes went on as usual.
