ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (CBS) — A northwest suburban bank was closed Friday after a terrifying experience for tellers.
A Jeep Cherokee crashed right through the doors Thursday at the Harris Bank branch and kept driving.
One teller was slightly hurt after getting knocked to the ground, but fortunately no customers were in the vehicle’s path.
Police say the driver’s foot slipped off the brake pedal and hit the gas.
