Teenage Mother, Child Missing From Bronzeville

CHICAGO (STMW) — A missing 15-year-old girl and her two-month-old son were last seen Tuesday in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

Gabriel Abbott, 15, was last seen Tuesday in the 3500 block of South Rhodes Avenue, according to a community alert from Wentworth Area detectives.

She was wearing a red tank top, blue capri pants, and white and green gym shoes. She may be carrying a pink book bag, the alert said.

Her son, Javel Abbott, 3 months old, was last seen wearing a blue sleeper, wrapped in a cream colored “Winnie the Pooh” blanket, the alert said.

Gabriel may be with her boyfriend, Javon Wright.

Anyone with information should contact Wentworth Area detectives at (312) 747-8385.

Getting younger by the year 14 and pregnant

  • Lyndia

Yes, that happens and it has been going on since the beginning of time. Are you a believer of Islam? Don’t they do that in your religion? Don’t you have many wives? Don’t those freaks in Utah have children by young girls? Didn’t Warren Jeffs have children by children?

    • peaceful

In Islam, you marry first THEN have a baby. Also, better to have “many wives” than many “baby mamas” without marriage, don’t you think?

LYNDIA, Lady I wonder about you. Like that comment about the free gas. The poster suggested if a black church was paying for free gas, why not pay for the gas at a black controlled, if not own, such as the stations on Independence or Western and Roosevelt Road where other African American shops. You came out left field with you spend your money where they treat you good. I have been in that station, a few times, where the gas was served. They treat you no better than anywhere else. His point was to spend money in your neighborhood. Now, as far as my religion, I only have one wife. She is more than enough of a woman for one man, as I more than enough man for one woman. We both know we’re not enough for two. How many men do you have and how many baby daddies do you have, since you want to be mean spirited and nasty? I‘ll be watching for you future comments, you better come correct
