Rookie Carimi Hurt In Bears Loss To Saints

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Chicago rookie tackle Gabe Carimi has hurt his right leg in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

Trainers appeared to be testing Carimi’s knee after Jay Cutler threw an incomplete pass in the final minute of the first half, and the lineman required assistance to get to the sideline.

Bears officials did not provide immediate word on the condition of Carimi, a first-round draft choice out of Wisconsin who has started the first two games of his NFL career.
