Field Museum Nominated For Best Bathroom

CHICAGO (CBS) — The Field Museum is making headlines again, and this time it’s not the world-class exhibitions or extensive research drawing attention.

The Field has been named a finalist for the 10th Annual America’s Best Restroom Award.

The Field Museum impressed competition judges with the two large restrooms on the ground floor.

The family-friendly water closets are spacious, and feature enough fixtures and stalls that families and school groups alike can get in and out quickly, the judges said.

In addition there are powerful, efficient hand dryers, and child-sized facilities. In the women’s restroom, a private nursing space is reserved for new mothers complete with a couch and sink.

  • Disgusted with CBS

I don’t know what has happened here at CBS. These message boards used to be teaming with observations and opinions. Now there are more stories with zero comments than stories with comments. I used to enjoy reading opinions from both sides of every issue. What is going on CBS, what happened to increasing readership? Nobody wants to participate on an empty message board. Come on CBS, change things back to the way it was.
