***So Lovie Smith admitted that the Bears need more balance between running and passing when on offense. He says he already talked to Mike Martz about that issue. Sounds like GROUNDHOG DAY after the Giants fiasco of a year ago. Now come the 2-0 Packers. You might say they don't have quite the incentive as one may think coming into that game. WRONG! The Packers(and their fans)are still moaning that they got hosed when they were flagged for a franchise record 18 penalties last year. After a late turnover,Robbie Gould won the game with a last second field goal. Little did anyone know that the Bears would have a chance to eliminate the Packers in the final regular season game at Lambeau Field, but since they were locked into the #2 NFC seed,they did not go all out,took their feet off the throttle and after a dumb timeout by Mike Martz nullified a first down run,they failed on the next play,punted and the Pack got the winning drive going, got the last wild card slot and did not lose again. That of course included the NFC Title Game at Soldier Field. Martz called ANOTHER timeout the cost the Bears a first down run,and then the bogus Martz call for an end around by Earl Bennett ended the Bears season! GRRRR!
 
***Through two weeks, U'm shocked to be 26-6,including 14-2 this past weekend,missing only on Tampa Bay-Minnesota and Tennessee's upset of Baltimore.
