CHICAGO (WSCR) The topic of Carlos Zambrano came up during Mike Quade’s pre-game gab fest with the media.
I asked Quade if he would want Carlos back next year if he is managing the team in 2012.
“I don’t know. That’s a tough question for me to answer. I’d like his arm back if he fits into the mix, but it would be tough for him to come back I think for me. If he did, you deal with it – so be it. It would be tough.”
Translation – that’s a firm no from Mike Quade.
