Girl, 12, Missing For A Week From West Side

CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl last leaving for school in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood on Sept. 15.

Ebony Sullivan left for Ella Flagg grade school at Parkside and Hirsch about 8 a.m Thursday but didn't attend classes that day and hasn't been seen since, according to a missing persons alert from Grand Central Area detectives.

Ebony lives in the 1600 block of North Mango and frequents the area of North Avenue between Central and Menard. Her family is unaware of any friends except for a girl named Briana. This is the second time Sullivan has gone missing, the alert said.

She is black with a light complexion, 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, and a mole on her forehead.

Anyone with information should call detectives at (312) 746-8365.
