Men Tried To Lure Boys Into Car In Kendall County

BOULDER HILL, Ill. (STMW) - The Kendall County sheriff's office is investigating a report that two men tried to lure children into their car with offers of candy in southwestern Boulder Hill.

About 3:20 p.m. Sept. 16, two men offered the children candy if they would get into a car near Saugatuck and Springdale roads in Boulder Hill, police said.

The two men were Hispanic and riding in a silver or black sport-utility vehicle, according to a police report. The children ran home and were not hurt, police said.

Police took the report at Plank Junior High School at 520 Secretariat Lane in Oswego. They have no suspects, according to the report.
