Don't Miss This
(WSCR) Back in January, Ozzie Guillen was the guest of honor at 670 The Score’s Celebrity Roast and he just happened to be wearing a Florida Marlins hat.
Talk about foreshadowing.
Guillen now appears to be headed to Florida to accept the managerial job with the Marlins after being released from his contract with the White Sox Monday night.
A lot has changed since the manager’s roast in January. The event celebrated the former White Sox manager in the weird and hilarious way roasts always do. The roasters included Peggy Kusinski of NBC, Oney Guillen and Ozzie Guillen, former White Sox pitcher Roberto Hernandez and even Sun-Times columnist Joe Cowley.
The Score’s Chris Rongey was the emcee for the night and Ozzie himself took the mic to return the fire at his roasters.
