Man, Teenage Boy Shot In South Shore

CHICAGO (STMW) – A 15-year-old boy and a man were shot and critically wounded in the South Shore neighborhood Friday afternoon.
The shooting occurred in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue at 3:44 p.m., Police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.
The teen was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Kevin MacGregor. The adult was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital also in critical condition.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
