(CBS) Though it’s doubtful he’ll play Sunday, Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett returned to practice on Thursday.
Bennett has been sidelined since the Bears’ Week 2 loss to the Saints when safety Roman Harper hit him when Bennett when over the middle to make a catch. The former Vanderbilt star had not played or practiced since the injury.
Julius Peppers missed practice for the second straight day with a left knee MCL sprain. Cornerback Charles Tillman (hip) and defensive tackle Matt Toeaina (knee) also did not participate.
