Mac: Be it resolved: Don't take Belichick rejects

If you've had it with the Bears and find yourself rooting for more disasters so a regime change will be made, you could be in for a sober awakening.
Many insiders believe that even a 4-12 or 5-11 season wouldn't be enough for Team McCaskey to pull the plug on general manager Jerry Angelo and/or coach Lovie Smith. Both have two years remaining on their deals.
That accepted, I think it's my duty to help Angelo with his New Year's resolutions. I'm going to offer one every week until the ball drops in Times Square. Hey, the GM said in Bourbonnais he was more interested in solutions than hearing about his team's problems.
Here's one: The next time Bill Belichick cuts a first-round draft pick who's in his mid-20s, just say no.
