Grid Iron Shredded BBQ Beef
1 3-lb chuck roast
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or garlic cloves)
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 cup water
1 cup KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce
1 cup catsup
1 cup chopped onion
Freshly baked Turano brand Kaiser rolls

Trim the roast, removing any fat, and place it in your crock pot. Combine garlic powder (or cloves), pepper, salt, chili powder, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, water, KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce, catsup, and onions. Mix well and pour over the top of the roast. Cook on 'High' for 1 hour. Reduce heat and cook on 'Low' for 7-8 hours. Remove roast and shred meat with forks. Return shredded beef to the crock pot and mix with the sauce. Cook an additional hour on 'Low'. Serve on Kaiser rolls....and Bear Down!
