(WSCR) Maybe it’s all of the working out he does, but Marian Hossa looks like a new guy.
When the Blackhawks signed him in the summer of 2009, I was ecstatic. Hossa was the final piece of the Stanley Cup puzzle, and it worked. However, many fans became concerned with Hossa on the long term. Before he even took the ice for the Hawks, he had to recover from a seriously injured shoulder. Since then, he’s been banged up a lot, missing games here and there. I supposed three consecutive trips to the Stanley Cup Finals will do that to a guy.
Well, Chris Campoli turned the puck over in Vancouver, and the Hawks and Hossa had a longer summer than expected. Since then, Hossa has look re-energized…re-born.
