Police say the girl left notes for her mother and father, assuring them that they should not worry about her, and that she needed to get certain things completed. Then she left for school, but never showed up.

Destiny Ruiz is Hispanic, standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, and a medium complexion. She has large, black-framed glasses and wears her hair spiked up.
